The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) is a UN agency that works to protect the lives and ensure the healthy development of the world's children through a wide range of activities in fields including health, nutrition, water and sanitation, education, protection and emergency aid.
UNICEF's activities are supported by funds derived from voluntary contributions, and donations from the private sector are an important form of support for their work.
As the national committee representing UNICEF in Japan, the Japan Committee for UNICEF conducts fundraising activities for UNICEF’s activities, as well as public relations and advocacy.
CSR Activities
UNICEF
GSTV Inc. supports children around the world via the Japan Committee for UNICEF.
GSTV Inc. has used a portion of the proceeds from "26 Hours of TV," held from October 2014 to March 2017, "Encore Day," held from April 2017 to June 2022, and from "Premium Day," held since July 2022, to purchase UNICEF support gifts and make emergency relief donations. Through UNICEF, we are delivering aid to children in need in countries around the world.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all GSTV customers for making these activities possible.
Moving forward, we will continue different activities to help children in need.
We will report on these activities during the "Premium Day" broadcast or here on this page.
GSTV Fun Cafeteria
GSTV Inc. has operated the "GSTV Fun Cafeteria" since 2021 as a means to provide meal support to single-parent families.
To prevent single-parent families from becoming isolated, the program promotes children’s healthy development
by providing meals and hosting parent-child events.
Building a society founded on mutual assistance and well-being.
Nerima Children's Cafeteria
Since 2017, GSTV Inc. has been supporting the "Kodomo Shokudo" (kids' cafeteria) through the NPO "Nerima Kodomo Shokudo," which provides nutritious meals and a warm place for local people to gather.
